Color Technologist.
Feladatkör: Weigh pigments, resins, and additives as directed by lab card.
Maintain inventory of pigments and resins in development area.
Operate all Color Lab molding machines including development instruments, mixers and extruders.
Adjust / approve color formulas efficiently and independently.
Utilize computer software as needed such as; Syteline, Microsoft office.
Utilize X?rite color matching software to adjust rejects, development jobs, and matches.
Work closely with PDT/PDE/Adjustor to develop colors.
Understand match schedule, sample schedule, match request, and lab cards.
Support OEM color submission as needed.
Perform labeling and packaging duties for masters, match chips and samples.
Utilize database of Masters, Chips and Retains.
Follow the Quality System approved work instructions and procedures and help improve.
Responsible for successful facilitation of all company safety policies and procedures.
Responsible for cleanliness of work area.
Participate in company training seminars as offered..
Elvárások: Technical University education - chemical engineering.
Knowledge of Quality system.
Knowledge of molding machines, extruders, color software, pigments and polymer resins is preferred. Experience in lab setting is preferred.
Proper color vision - must pass color test.
Ability to communicate in English well.
Ability to work and complete tasks without direct supervision.
Ability to adjust for flexibility in scheduling to manage critical projects..
